Nursery, Primary and Higher Education Architects
Michael Jones Architects, based in West London, have completed several projects in the education sector over the last few years in London and the Home Counties. Recent projects cover The London Borough of Richmond, The Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea and Ealing Council as well as Buckinghamshire County Council.
In the feasibility stages of the project, in order to understand the client's business and philosophy, we start with a detailed brief development and feasibility study. Activities such as workshops with parents, staff and other stakeholders can give a broad range of insights that can inform the design principles of the scheme and respective brand identity.
We thrive working on difficult and complex sites developing different types of teaching spaces. We tailor our designs to suit the various teaching approaches and objectives of the nursery, school or university
Our schemes work with the local community, and where appropriate can provide flexible spaces that allow for varied uses such as workshops, exhibitions, art activities, coffee mornings and other similar events.
We work with school leaders to develop a design language and set of principles that deliver brand identity that can then be rolled out across multiple sites, while adapting to the unique constraints and opportunities of each.
We can assist with fundraising including grant applications and pitching to investors. We can produce a range of content, such as visualisations, feasibility studies, and sales documents, to give your idea the best chance of appealing to investors.
